Lexington, Kentucky (March 18, 2021) - Teens and young adults interested in working at the Y this summer as camp counselors or lifeguards are encouraged to attend a Summer Job Fair at the YMCA’s program site at the University of Kentucky. The job fair will be Saturday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1530 Nicholasville Road in Lexington, KY 40507.

Lexington, Kentucky (March 1, 2021) – The YMCA of Central Kentucky will join a growing number of YMCAs across the country for YMCA Day of Giving, a one-day giving event on March 2, to encourage donations to your local YMCA. The YMCA of Central Kentucky has a goal of raising $10,000 on this day to support children and families in Fayette, Franklin, Scott and Jessamine Counties.

Lexington, Kentucky (February 2, 2021) – Leslie Flynn has been named the new chair of the YMCA of Central Kentucky’s board of directors. Flynn succeeds Al Isaac who continues to serve as an executive committee member after completing his term as chair. The board of directors also has announced six new members and two advisory board chairs for the 2021-2023 term.
