We're taking time this fall for scheduled maintenance to keep your YMCA experience top-notch. Please be aware of the following upcoming facility area closures at three of our YMCA of Central Kentucky locations:
North Lexington Family YMCA
• Aquatic Center (pool, steam room, sauna, and hot tub) will be closed Monday, Aug. 12-Monday, Sept. 2. During this time, we will be conducting annual cleaning and maintenance, as well as resurfacing the indoor pool. We anticipate re-opening the aquatic center on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
C.M. Gatton Beaumont YMCA
• The Group Exercise Studio will be closed Mon, Aug. 26-Mon, Sept. 2 to resurface the floors. We will reopen the studio on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Whitaker Family YMCA
• Basketball Gymnasium will be closed Thursday, Aug. 29-Sunday, Sept. 1 to refinish the floor. We will reopen the gymnasium on Monday, Sept. 2.
• The Group Exercise Studio will be closed Thursday, Aug. 29-Monday, Sept. 2. We will reopen the studio on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
• The Parking Lot will be resurfaced and cracks will be filled Tuesday, Sept. 3-Friday, Sept. 6. We will communicate daily parking availability via mobile app and interior and exterior signage.
• The Aquatic Center (pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub) will be closed beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 - Sunday, Oct. 13. We anticipate re-opening the aquatic center on Monday, Oct. 14 at 5:30 a.m.
If anything changes to the schedule, we will update you as soon as possible. We encourage you to explore our other convenient YMCA locations and amenities during these times, and always check the website or our free mobile app for the most up-to-date schedules.
