Our YMCA youth swim teams (C.M. Gatton Beaumont YMCA Barracudas and North Lexington YMCA Tigersharks) competed in the Kentucky State Swim Meet March 4-6, 2022 in Ashland, KY. Congratulations to the teams on their achievements:

- Team placed 3rd combined overall
- 5 swimmers attending zones
- 6 swimmers attending 12&under USA state A’s next weekend
- 3 swimmers attending 13&over USA state a’s the following weekend
- 7/8 girls high point
- 13/14 girls high point runner up
- 7-8 girls won age group high point
- 13-14 girls won age group high point

- Team placed 2nd combined overall
- Fifteen Zone qualifiers
- Four Nationals qualifiers
