Since 2014, the YMCA of Central Kentucky has collaborated closely with Fayette County Public Schools to deliver water safety instruction to students. This ongoing partnership underscores the YMCA's commitment to ensuring equitable access to water safety education, particularly in underserved communities.
Youth Water Safety Day will feature hands-on activities and instruction on water safety fundamentals, including proper life jacket usage and basic swimming techniques.
To support the YMCA of Central Kentucky's mission of providing water safety education and swim lessons for all, donations are welcomed. For more information about our swim programs and activities, click here.
Special thanks to Bates Security, Kentucky American Water, and the American Red Cross for making this year's event possible!
