ABOUT THE SWIM TEAM

The C.M. Gatton Beaumont YMCA Barracudas Swim Team are among the region's mostly highly respected champions of the water! Our coaching staff works with each swimmer to meet their individual needs to help them succeed, stay safe, and have fun.

New Members

• All new members must sign up for an evaluation prior to registration. Evaluations are currently closed for the season. 
• Attending an evaluation does not guarantee a space on the team. The evaluation will allow the swim coach to see their abilities. 
• Evaluations are free and do not require membership to attend.    

Requirements

• Participant must have an active YMCA of Central KY membership at the time of registration.   
• Swimmers must attend an evaluation (for new members) or be a current member of the YMCA of Central KY swim team member.

Fees

• Fees are based on group placement. Fees will be communicated once swimmers are placed in a group. 
• A $100 deposit is non-refundable and is not applicable for financial assistance. Deposit is included in the total balance. 
• Financial assistance and payment plans are available.  
• Total fees are due on September 15, 2025, except for payment plans.
