We recommend parking at CLS behind J. Render’s if able.

  • Check-in will be held in the front lawn of the YMCA. The line will form down the sidewalk in front of the playground and stay on the sidewalk wrapping back to the Performance Training Center (previously Beaumont Clubhouse). Please do not line up in the parking lot as traffic will be moving through.

  • You will begin by checking-in and ensuring you have the proper bib # and athletes will have their number written on the back of their right calf and right arm with black sharpie. Please have your athlete remove any layers while in the check-in line.

  • Athletes will then proceed to their designated table to retrieve ankle timing chip that must stay on the entire race. For smaller athletes there are extra-small bands if needed.

  • It is not necessary to bring your bike through the check-in line this year, it can go straight to transition, just make sure to see a transition volunteer to ensure bike plate is on properly, and you go to the appropriate transition zone (designated by age groups).

  • When you enter the transition area from the front of the Y age groups will be located in zones.

Volunteers will be available to assist athletes and can accommodate those who need to gather transition items before race is over – please ask volunteers before entering so it is done at a safe time for all athletes.

  • Results will be posted as they are available, but trophies will not be presented until the final athlete crosses the finish line.

  • I encourage all of you to stay and watch strong finishes through the morning, and cheer on all athletes! My favorite part of the race is watching them turn the last corner where they see the finish line and give it all they’ve got. I promise you will not be disappointed!

  • We will do our very best to begin the race promptly at 7:30 a.m.

  • The race may occur with light rainfall, with no thunderstorm present.
